iCET presents ZEV-credits at the 7th Earth Temple Forum

The Clean Transportation Transformation Director, Ms. Maya Ben Dror, was invited to present iCET’s ZEV-credits study highlights at the 7th Earth Temple Forum on June 16 in Beijing. The forum, organized by the Beijing Environmental Exchange Institute and Beijing Green Finance Association and hosted by the Climate Division of NDRC, the National Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation Research Center, and the Beijing Finance Department, focused on green finance and low carbon development.

iCET holds the BestEV 1st implementation year summary

On June 16, 2016, iCET held its "BestEV" 1sy implementation year summary in Energy Foundation China office. Over 20 representatives of the newly formed BestEV Experts Committee and BestEV Coalition, including industry, research and government organizations attended the meeting. iCET reviewed the project, its implementation process and major outputs for 2015/16, as well as its next steps towards 2017.

iCET is invited to take part in China's first Bioenergy Sustainability Standard Working Group as its sole NGO committee member 

Approved by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and led by China Quality Certification Center (CQC), China's Bioenergy Sustainability Standard Working Group held its first kick-off meeting on June 16th,iCET was invited as the Committee's sole NGO, with iCET's Clean Transportation Manager Ms. Kang Liping serving as its technical consultant.

iCET holds China-US Climate Leaders Summit-Low Carbon Transportation Forum

On June 8, 2016 , the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) hosted the " Low Carbon Transportation Transformation” panel at the second China-US Climate Smart / Low Carbon Cities Summit. The goal was to use new technologies, new models and new mechanisms to accelerate low-carbon transportation, cleaning process under the new era as wellas the new driven background. A total of 130 industry leaders attended the event, including mayors from China and the US, all levels of transportation related government leaders, representatives from research institutions, automotive companies, as well as from media and IT travel platforms.
