On March 7th, 2011, the iCET low carbon transportation group traveled to Shenzhen to visit the Department of Major Projects of the Shenzhen City DRC to promote the concept of lower carbon electric vehicle system development in Shenzhen.

On January 20th, 2011, iCET attended the Guangdong International Workshop on Energy Efficiency Finance and Investment. This event was organized by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), EHS Academy at Sun Yat-sen University and SGS CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. Around 100 representatives from governments, NGOs, academia, financial institutions, enterprises, and energy service companies participated in this workshop.
