iCET attends US-China Clean Energy Forum in Washington DC
On January 18,19 of 2001, iCET team members Dr. Feng An, Dr. Yufu Cheng and Lucia Green-Weiskel traveled to Washington DC to attend the US-China Strategic Forum on Clean Energy Cooperation hosted by the Brookings Institution, the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy and the Department of Energy.

On Dec.16, 2010, the Sustainable Development Summit, hosted by SGS-CSTC （SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd.）, took place in Beijing. Representatives from business, academics, and NGOs participated in the forum and discussed sustainable development approaches for enterprises in China. As one of significant strategic partners, iCET was actively involved in this event.

Dec 15, 2010, iCET signed an agreement with AutoNavi to develop a tailored version of Mini map for green cars. The cooperation between iCET and AutoNavi will promote the development of EFVs (environmentally friendly vehicles) in China and make a contribution to energy-saving and environment protection.

From Nov. 29th to Dec.3rd, 2010, iCET’s ECR team came to Los Angeles and attended a one-week training on GHG registry at The Climate Registry (TCR). The training covered protocol development, reporting software, member service, marketing, member training as well as other related aspects.

On November 16th, iCET became the first and only Chinese organization to join the R20 regional initiative. The R20, launched by California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is a first-of-its-kind, innovative subnational public-private alliance that will work toward climate change solutions and building the global green economy.
